Akari Hatake (あかり はたけ, Hatake Akari) is a kunoichi of Konohagakure and a member of the Hatake Clan. She is also one of the original members of Team 10.

Appearance

Akari is stated to bear a resemblance to her father with similar steel grey eyes and silver hair that’s kept in a ponytail. In contrast, Kakashi likened her looks to her mother with him stating that both are beautiful.

As an academy student, During her time in the Anbu, she wore a black suit underneath a grey flak jacket, dark brown gloves with arm guards that went up to her elbows, sandals and a dark blue scarf around her neck that would cover her mouth. She also wore her forehead protector above her forehead with her bangs framing it. Her Anbu mask was similar to that of her fathers though it had black markings instead of red

Abilities

Chakra and Physical Prowess

As stated by Kakashi, Akari's chakra reserves are above-average compared to his own and she is able to several jutsu in quick succession before beginning to tire out.

Described as a speed-type fighter, Akari's taijutsu revolves around the use of her speed and agility.

Ninjutsu

Much like Kakashi and his pack of ninken, Akira has her own personal ninken that she is able to summon and perform various tasks such as tracking other people and aiding her in combat.

Nature Transformation

Akari is able to use three of the basic nature transformations with a natural affinity for Lightning Release. her most common usage being to channel it through her weapons to increase their cutting power and has learned several techniques from him including his famously signature technique, Lightning Release: Purple Electricity. Her skill with Water Release is such that she can produce water from thing air though she stated that doing so drains her relatively quickly. She also typically uses it to extend the range of her lightning techniques.

Kenjutsu

During Akari's time in the Anbu, she became skilled in a multitude of weapons and is able to use them in various ways depending on the current situation. She is most noticeably a skilled kenjutsu user and uses a ninjatō as her main weapon of choice while occasionally pairing it with her use of the White Light Chakra Saber, wielding the tantō in a reverse grip with her right hand and using it to block or counter attacks while attacking with her ninjatō. She also takes advantage of the chakra streak that follows the tantō's blade as a way of catching opponents off guard. Akari's shurikenjutsu skills allow her to intercept enemy shinobi's attacks and sometimes attaches wire strings in order to better guide them should they miss their intended target.

Medical Ninjutsu

While not a true medical-nin, Akira is an adept medical ninjutsu user thanks to her refined chakra control. She is able to use the Mystical Palm technique to heal cuts, stab wounds and burns in seconds though more serious injuries take longer.
