Athena Fujimaru (アテーナー 藤丸 Fujimaru Atēnā) is a King that presides over the Flame Clan; a clan of warriors who are trained to defend the Damiyo`s citizens, and serve as information gatherers. A former kunochi, she defected from Konohagakure to join the Flame Clan as a way to recover from the emotional unstable position that her three fraternal triplet sisters were going through. The former Mayor of Cinder Town after the death of her father, she recovered by assuming the position of Mayor at only age 7, an outstanding feat for a young child of her age, accomplishing many things.
Background[]
Born Athena Veronica Manna Fujimara, she was the first-born child of her parents; the Knight Saint Annabeth and a Healer Doran, in a peaceful town known as Cinder, where her father was also the Mayor prior to his death. In her youth, Athena assumed many responsibilities relating to her family`s household duties, becoming the "man" of the family whenever her father was off doing jobs, and fixing things around the village. Due to the fact that her father was almost always busy, Athena constanally reared her younger fraternal triplet sisters from babies into young teenagers all by herself, despite being a teenager herself. In her youth, she became friends with two village children; Miyu and Kiku.
Genin Years[]
Growing into a young child, Athena quickly rose the ranks among her classmates; maintaining the class`s highest rank, tying with classmates Miyu and Kiku, with all three of them becoming known as the "Big Three", due to the fact that they were skilled in both academics and athletics. Even among the prodigies in their class, Athena was one of the three top students and maintained that throughout her Genin years.
Defection[]
At some point, she defected from Konohagakure and joined Team Darkness, which her younger sister Liberty Fujimaru had left years prior to follow her dreams of recovering her memories. Around the time she left, she was challenged to a fight by the former head of the Flame Clan, winning the fight, and was crowned the Head of the Flame Clan, and thus the Head of the entire Black Market and it`s dealings. In the years after her defection from the Hidden Leaf Village, she has shifted the Black Market`s focus into legal practices, and has implemented laws that make it almost impossible to trade enslaved children or even to kill them, as it would be like slapping the King, Athena herself in the face. The entire Black Market fears her wrath, and even the Villages are wary of her power.
Appearance[]
Athena has soft green eyes and a petite build, being the shortest among the girls on Team Darkness, due to only standing around 152 feet tall. She wears her straight and short blue hair in a razor-cut hairstyle, where her hair hangs lengthier on the right side of her face. She has free-falling bangs that mostly covers her right eye and one long strand of hair on the left side of her face. She also wears a white hair clip holding back the bangs on her left side. Also having a stern look on her face, Athena exerts a unfriendly aura and despises males in particular most specifically her own father, due to the fact that her mother was cheated on by her father with other woman who conceived her fraternal twin sisters. Athena has been described by many people to have the charisma of a true Warrior King, with many people following her rule because of her intimidating aura, that she exerts when people meet her for the first time.
Personality[]
Calm, even-tempered, cool-headed, wise, intimidating even when she is trying to be nice to other people, respectful, and having manners; Athena is a total example of a perfect lady. Initially, she comes off as a cold person, and appears to be disrespectful towards people she does not like, though she is only trying to tell them off in a far more gentler manner than what her mother raised her to do. Mature even for her age, Athena is a skilled leader, effective in leading her team into battle, and often is selfless in battle; risking her own life to protect the Damiyo`s citizens, with them sometimes even not reciprocating the kindness that they had received leading to the anger of Athena`s squad members and their adverse reactions to commoners, and even other people alike regarding them as "worthless" and "unworthy" to even gaze upon Athena. The epitome of selflessness, she thinks the needs of her teammates are worth more, and acts out of love in certain situations for Hera her spouse, even pretending to sacrifice her life at one point to ensure that her lover would escape with her life intact. People, and the Damiyo himself have even taken advantage of her kindness, and used her life as a "tool" to be "used" and "disposed" at his will. A kind-hearted person, she does not have the capacity to hate or even despise somebody; even her squad members have stated that "a pure heart such as the one that our Squad Leader has, she cannot hate somebody with it. It is just not in her nature", implying that the reason she cannot hate somebody is that her more logical nature keeps her very grounded and she sees things in a more logical reasoning rather than through emotion itself.

Chakra and Physical Prowess[]
Even among the Fujimaru Clan, famed for it`s longevity chakra that enabled the members of it`s clan to live longer than most ordinary ninja`s, Athena is a special case. Being blessed by light-based forces since birth, and merging with one herself, sets herself on a standard higher than most ninja`s of her age. She has been blessed with immense power, and often was selected as the leader for most, if not all missions conducted outside of Cinder Village. Her physical prowess was such that it was said that even the Gods and Goddesses praised her, and sent her to Earth as the "messiah" or messenger. In the Land of Fire, after the death of the Seventh Hokage (Seventh Fire Shadow) Naruto Uzumaki, people turned to shrines praying for Athena to rescue them.

As a member of the legendary, exalted, and revered Fujimaru Clan; as well as being a member of the "Big Three" throughout her Genin Years, Athena is a natural at using her clan`s nature transformation, known as Absolute Release. Mastering the right of passage`s justu, Absolute Release: Complete Destruction (an technique which obliterates everything in it`s path of destruction, unless a greater force destroys it, even Itachi and Kakashi have stated that due to Athena being fairly well-versed in the nature of her clan`s release techniques that she is very dangerous and therefore should be regarded as a threat.
