(壊死戦病死, lit. Contracting the Art of the Dying) is a Jujutsu utilized by Kiyo Aranu. A passive technique given to her for her faithfulness to Jashin. The cursed ability causes necrosis to afflict any open wounds that the enemy sustains, be that they are inflicted by Kiyo herself. Killing off cells rapidly, a simple scratch now becomes a degenerating attack on a cellular scale. Expanding from the injuries, they will begin to entrope the entire body of the victim if given enough time. Black pigments fill the enemy skin as their body is eaten alive by the highly lethal cellular attack, not just to the foe's physical body, but to their chakra network in that area as well.
Removing the nerves, muscles, and eventually the bone itself, the necrosis that Kiyo's jujutsu afflicts upon her enemies will lead to shocking damage. First subtle, but in the long term, the damage induced will become irreperable. However, treatment can be applied after contracting the necrosis, if given ample time, and as long as said limb/afflicted area are not entirely eroded and dead. Even to the likes of the world's finest medical-nin, the Necrosis will shut off all chakra receptors, preventing any healing from being accepted, the limb being of no further use. Amputation will be required if the damage can not be repaired, lest it begin to spread over a period of time.
Proximity based in a sense, the closer one gets to Kiyo Aranu, the faster the effects of the necrosis will take place. A simple scratch could be of no threat in the short term, but once engaging in close combat, they would find their small injuries have began to eat away at their flesh and life force, rapidly expanding it's territories. A tactic that can be used to minimalize the damage is as simple as increasing the gap inbetween them and Kiyo, however, this is much easier said then done. Even then, the necrosis does not stop it's encroachment simply because of distance from the user.
Kiyo has stated once before, that she can reverse the effects of the Necrosis due to her pact with Jashin. However, little trust can be put in this, as it is likely a tactic to gain an edge over he foes, forcing them to comply with her demands in clutch situations. Their healing for her desired gain.
