Onryō Raijū (雷獣怨霊, Raijū Onryō) was a synthetic clone of both Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha created by Amado with the intention of working for the Kara organization. Despite Amado's original intentions, Onryō became self-independent and broke away from his creator, with the sole purpose of eliminating his genetic templates, having harbored extreme hatred towards them.
Background[]
Onryō was created by Amado with the DNA sources of both Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, both of which were renowned as the most powerful shinobi of their generation, and possibly of all time, with the sole purpose of becoming a member of Kara, although Amado secretly intended for Onryō to work alongside him to eliminate Jigen. Wanting Onryō to become the "perfect weapon", Jigen instructed Amado to add extensive combat and jutsu knowledge onto his brain, but Amado stated they had little to no data recordings, and Jigen instead opted to place Onryō into several simulation recordings of past battles and conflicts to allow him to absorb as much knowledge and experience as possible.
Using one of Amado's many scientific resources, Onryō was confined and forced to spectate numerous battles from all of Amado's recordings, but due to them being so little, Amado feared that his prowess wouldn't be enough. Jigen then decided to utilize the aid of Ada and her Senrigan ability that allows her project her consciousness to any location to see and hear any present event, as well as any past events. However, Amado added that she could do so up until the moment of her birth, and thus she couldn't project decades earlier to more violent conflicts, and Jigen decided to combine Ada's Senrigan with his own mind, as Jigen had lived since the days of the Sage of Six Paths, and as a result, they successfully implanted nearly a thousand years worth of combat experience onto Onryō's brain. They also implanted scattered bits of each of the Tailed Beast's chakra from the Fourth Shinobi World War onto his body, effectively making him a Pseudo-Jinchūriki of every tailed beast.
However, once Onryō was ready for testing, the synthetic human gained enough free will to rebel against his creator, and after exploding the laboratory in which they were located in, Onryō fled from Kara's hideout. Arriving at a small village hours later, Onryō began to plot his goal to eliminate his genetic templates, having developed an intense hatred of them, blaming them for his entire painful existence and experiences, exclaiming that if they were never born, he'd never suffer at the hands of Kara. When a bystander saw Onryō clutching in pain, he attempted to help him, but Onryō mercilessly killed him, before going on to slaughter the entire village, and marveled at it afterwards, laughing maniacally and deeming all humans as worthless and inferior.
Personality[]

Onryō was an extreme misanthropic and nihilistic being, viewing all life forms besides himself as worthless and inferior. Possessing an extreme level of hatred in his heart, Onryō relished on causing suffering upon others, often laughing maniacally after every murder he'd committed. Onryō openly rejected general or fundamental aspects of human existence, such as objective truth, knowledge, morality, values or meaning, deeming them as "dead weight".
At his core, Onryō relished glory, power, agony and destruction, as he showed in his enjoyment of his enemies's annihilation, as well as his maniacal smile from destroying a small village, simply closing his eyes and hearing the screams of fear and agony from its inhabitants. Perhaps Onryō's most noteworthy trait was his enormous ego, matched only by his malice and power. Because of his high opinion of himself, Onryō tended to react to any given situation quite evenly. Accordingly, Onryō was quite confident in his skills, commonly referring to his foes as lower life-forms such as insects, and often cherished the opportunity to mock them. Overall, Onryō seemed to simultaneously possess a superiority and inferiority-complex, as he could quickly be driven over the edge in anger when foes prove able to overpower, or even rival him. At the same time, Onryō possessed a competitive nature, enjoying a foe that could give him a good challenge in battle.
Despite his arrogance, Onryō knew full well how to remain hidden and away from sight, such as when he realized that he couldn't launch an all-out assault Konohagakure without drawing all of its shinobi towards him. He was also patient enough to travel the world to absorb and replicate techniques that his simulations weren't able to record and implant into him before heading out for his ultimate battle, wanting to learn every technique the world could offer.
Appearance[]

Onryō was virtually identical to Naruto Uzumaki, although with some slight changes; his hair was black due to Sasuke Uchiha's DNA also being used for his creation, and Onryō wore it in a longer and more shaggy-looking style. He also had darker and more feral-looking whisker marks, and dark circles under his eyes.
When initially appearing as the mysterious "Masked Man," Onryō wore a white kitsune mask, a dark blue-grey robe with grey lining and a fur collar, and a tattered grey-blue cape emblazoned with his personal emblem: a mandala comprised of nine reddish-brown circles of varying sizes atop a larger green-grey circle. After revealing his identity, he discarded the robe and mask, beneath which he remained shirtless, and wore fingerless opera-length black gloves wrapped in studded red-brown leather straps, baggy black pants, and red-brown sandals.
Abilities[]

Being considered a S-rank criminal, Onryō's power was greatly destructive and dangerous. Despite his initial inferiority against his genetic templates, Onryō gradually became stronger as the battle raged on, with Sasuke Uchiha noting that Onryō's strength and potential continued to grow every second due to his natural adaptability, and by the end of their battle, Onryō was considered to be almost at the same level as his genetic templates.
Onryō was proficient in wielding tools such as kunai, using them to kill many innocent people from up-close to satisfy his bloodlust. He was also skilled enough to handle other tools such as Gold Dust, Sand, and the powerful Iron Sand, using them for both offensive and defensive purposes.
Chakra and Physical Prowess[]
Having the DNA of both Naruto and Sasuke, who themselves are the reincarnations of Asura and Indra Ōtsutsuki, respectively, Onryō's chakra reserves were extraordinarily high, to the point where Naruto deemed them as "infinite". As such, Onryō was capable of fighting non-stop of several days, with Sasuke noting that Onryō could've battled them for weeks without any signs of exhaustion. Having perfect chakra control, Onryō also learned the basics of medical ninjutsu, being able to heal himself with ease.
Onryō excelled at taijutsu, being able to fight dozens of Konohagakure-nin at once without receiving no damage whatsoever, and even murdering one of them with a single uppercut to the jaw due to his extreme physical prowess. He was also capable of fighting both Naruto and Sasuke simultaneously, and although outmatched at the beginning, Onryō gradually became able to keep up with their power and speed, and ultimately became able to match their skills.
Ninjutsu[]

Onryō was extensively well-versed on ninjutsu. He already gained mastery over a variety of different ninjutsu abilities during his simulations whilst with Kara, and his prowess increased drastically after journeying the world. With this arsenal, combined with centuries of experience, Onryō could handle almost any situation in various ways. Furthermore, Onryō was capable of replicating any ninjutsu he laid eyes on, even secret techniques passed down strictly within clans, allowing him to retain the surprise element against his opponents at all times, and forcing them to fight extremely carefully to avoid allowing him to mimic their attacks.
He was also well-versed in the Summoning Technique. Onryō could summon nine masked beasts that were created by materialising his will into physical forms to do his bidding. Furthermore, Onryō could utilize the Shadow Clone Technique, and could create thousands of clones at once.
Nature Transformation[]

Onryō could use all five basic nature transformations, as well as Yin Release, Yang Release, and Yin-Yang Release. He could use Water Release without a nearby water source, a feat extremely rare, produce a massive wall of flames that could burn an entire small village in an instant, and intercept an opponent's elemental attack and produce the respective counterbalancing nature.
Aside from replicating his opponents' techniques, Onryō could nonetheless create variations of his own that his opponents couldn't: By infusing his Dark Release-based chakra, Onryō could create a darker variation of Rasenshuriken. Through his ability to replicate all techniques, Onryō was also capable of using several different elemental kekkei genkai, such as Boil Release, Lava Release, Magnet Release, and even using the Dust Release kekkei tōta.
Furthermore, Onryō was also capable of using Wood Release, a feat that was naturally available to Hashirama Senju. With it, Onryō could produce sharp wooden spikes from his body to either fashion short-range weapons akin to a makeshift sword, or use them as projectiles, create wooden clones that are created by using chakra to alter the user's own cells into vegetation, as well as a large amount of wooden clones, create a gigantic wooden dragon, which Onryō could use for a multitude of purposes including restraining a target, or for offensive purposes, and create a dense growth of trees, controlling how it grows using his chakra. The trees' life force was immense enough to split the earth as they sprout and further pierce through any other obstructions they encountered.
Jinchūriki Transformations[]

As the pseudo-jinchūriki of all tailed beasts, Onryō had access to massive reserves of exceptionally powerful chakra, as well as the abilities of each tailed beast available at his disposal. Due to the lack of an actual tailed beast sealed inside his body, Onryō could utilize the chakra's massive resources without the fear of the tailed beast taking over his mind. Onryō could produce ink through the Eight-Tails, allowing Onryō to either blind or restrict his opponents, strike the opponent with a powerful blow, causing a large formation of coral to quickly grow from the initial point of contact through the Three-Tails, ooze an extremely alkaline liquid, which burns upon contact and release a dense corrosive gas from his mouth through the Six-Tails, spew green flames from his mouth onto his target through the Four-Tails, and increase the temperature of his chakra to the boiling point, generating large amounts of steam and evaporating any water or ice in direct contact with his body through the Five-Tails.

Much like other jinchūriki, Onryō had access to a tailed beast's ultimate technique: Tailed Beast Ball. With it, Onryō had the capability of destroying the entirety of Konohagakure if Naruto and Sasuke hadn't stopped his efforts. Furthermore, Onryō could achieve Tailed Beast Mode, allowing him to fully transform into a tailed beast, and having the chakra of each one inside him, he could transform himself into any of the tailed beasts, and freely change between them during battle. Through the usage of the Shadow Clone Technique, Onryō could transform into all nine tailed beasts all at the same time.
Dōjutsu[]
Sharingan[]

Due to possessing Sasuke Uchiha's DNA, Onryō was capable of awakening the Sharingan, along with the unique distictive of being able to use them on only one eye at a time if desired. With the Sharingan, Onryō could see the flow of chakra, accurately reproduce any movement he saw, track fast-moving objects, and predict opponents' movement to a degree. He could also use place others in a genjutsu for broad purposes such as distraction, interrogation, knocking targets out, or placing them under his control.
Onryō's Sharingan had the unique ability to allow him to replicate any and all techniques that his eye witnessed, regardless of status and classification. As such, Onryō could replicate hiden techniques exclusive to clans and even techniques that were normally unaccessible. For example, despite never awakening the Mangekyō Sharingan, Onryō was capable of using Susanoo, a spectral warrior that protected him and acted on his behalf, having been able to use it upon watching Sasuke Uchiha summon it through his Mangekyō Sharingan.

Onryō's Susanoo was identical to Sasuke's, due to his eye having replicated Sasuke's down to the core. Like all Susanoo, Onryō's had several swords at its disposal that it could use against larger targets or to easily destroy nearby structures. More commonly, his Susanoo employed a bow that could fire arrows at rapid speeds and that can, when needed, double as a shield. Furthermore, Onryō could utilize his Susanoo in other offensive ways, such as crushing anything or anyone that its Susanoo's hand managed to grab, form a fist that could easily obliterate anything on its path, or even to merely restrain others to allow Onryō himself to strike them down. He was also able to utilize the Chidori through the Susanoo, giving the Lighting Release attack more strength and effectiveness.
Moreover, Onryō could also use Amaterasu, igniting whatever he looked at with black flames that can burn anything. With his right Sharingan, he could use Kagutsuchi to shape the flames into a variety of forms for offensive or defensive purposes, as well as using it through his Susanoo.
His Sharingan could even replicate senjutsu, allowing Onryō to gain access to senjutsu-based attacks without the need to undergo the extensive and difficult training required for it. As such, his Sharingan allowed Onryō to activate Sage Mode upon witnessing it, and only took Naruto sensing him to realize this, as Onryō showed zero physical changes unlike other Sage Mode users; no orange pigmentation around his eyes, and no toad-like pupils.
Rinnegan[]

By infusing both of Naruto and Sasuke's chakra together, Onryō became capable of awakening the Rinnegan, as Naruto and Sasuke were the reincarnations of Asura and Indra Ōtsutsuki, respectively, and the combined chakra of both resulted in the Rinnegan's awakening. The greatest advantage of the Rinnegan was that it gave Onryō access to all of the Six Paths Techniques: the gravitational powers of the Deva Path; the menagerie of summons available to the Animal Path; the limitless absorptive potential of the Preta Path; the control over others' souls with the Human Path; the different options of mechanisation in the Asura Path; access to the King of Hell through the Naraka Path. When the opportunity arose, he could shift between the different Paths seamlessly and instantly.
Moreover, Onryō could utilize the "Six Paths of Pain". Unlike Nagato and Obito Uchiha, who used them by embedding black receivers throughout the bodies of six corpses – arranged to resemble body piercings – Onryō was capable of using them through the usage of his shadow clones, along with Onryō himself and his clones being freely able to switch between each of the paths' techniques instead of being restricted to only one. Through his Six Paths of Pain, Onryō could see through his clones' eyes, allowing him to evade attacks that weren't within his own eyesight, and coordinate attacks with his clones without the need for verbal commands.
