BLEACH[]
This is pretty much what we were greeted with at the beginning. Whitey's mask about to show Kubo must have a vore fetish. It's actually a little sad. Masaki was an Action Girl for...all of one chapter, and now she's suffering for being an Action Girl. Even on fanon, there aren't enough users that regard women as decent for combat I'm sure, which is irritating...Then there's Erza and you see what happens when an Action Girl goes too far.... Per put it..."nicely":
Well said Per. Either way, Kisuke explains that he cannot return Masaki to how she was, as her condition is irreversible. What is her condition?
While he persists in telling us things we already know, we actually learn a few more interesting things about Hollowfiction, which only persists to open up the floodgates for more questions. For example, when Hollowfication begins, it eventually corrides at the soul so much that both collapse, exploding and...well, "dying". However, he created a Vaccine, composed of Quincy Arrows and human Souls, two things on the opposite spectrum of Shinigami and Hollows, and injected it into the Soul to stabilize it. This is how the Visoreds were fixed. But it raises a question. How was Ichigo fixed? He never recieved a vaccine, so, was the defeat of Hollow Ichigo enough to curb the soul suicide? And as it turns out, while Kisuke can use the vaccine, there needs to be something opposite to the Hollow, and strong enough to contain it, so Masaki can live as a normal person.
No Ryuuken, not this time. I like how Kubo is actually explaining all this, it's one of the few times I think he's thought out his work before putting it onto paper. Ryuuken knows that Isshin and Masaki are now soulmates figuratively and literally, as Isshin acceptss to be bound to protect Masaki without any hesitation at all. Ryuuken just gives in when he sees that this Shinigami and complete stranger has more in common with Masaki than he ever will, and it's kinda sad to watch him break.
There were quite a few innuendo zingers I could have put there but...I'd have just felt awful. I am curious, what is with Kubo and the upsurge of fanservice? It's still light, nothing like One Piece, Fairy Tail, or even Naruto, but it's not like Kubo to put so much fanservice into his stories so quickly. We've had hot springs, Rukia and Orihime, a friggin' harem, and now a naked Masaki.
Naruto[]
While this was a good chapter, this will definitely be a shorter review, as it was mainly battle and bickering. Naruto continues to protect everyone with his chakra, and pretty much tells Obito that, without friends, he (Naruto)is nothing and proceeds to continue the battle. Meanwhile, Madara notices Hashirama's chakra, and, well...
...I think my heart just stopped, what the HELL was that!? The Juubi then decides it's time to ruin the world as Obito and Kakashi transfer themselves to the Other Dimension. Meanwhile...
And with this, let's bring up the scoreboard.

The art was excellent, Bleach always has some good art, but I suppose the fanservice definitely tipped the extra point that BLEACH usually doesn't get. Thus, 10/10 for BLEACH's art. The story? 9/10. We're finally tying up Isshin's past, and I'm loving it. To me, it seems like Kubo actually bothered to, oh, THINK THIS OUT this time before putting it on paper. There was no fight. Overall, an Excellent chapter.

The art? Oh dear Noire, if I could score this higher, I would, the ending page was utter brilliance on Kishimoto's part. 10/10. The story, I'mma give it a 2.5. We didn't get too far because this was mainly a battle chapter, howevber, we HAVE reach the End of the World As We Know It. The fighting itself was awesome, and thus, 8.5/10. Overall, an Excellent chapter.
BLEACH and Naruto are all done for today, but they'll be back in two weeks after the holidays in Japan are over. I have to admit, I had some fun here. Stay tuned for the next review, TOM will have something in store for you.
